The InterSpiritual Centre of Vancouver Society envisions Vancouver as a place where diverse spiritual communities and individuals contribute to a thriving, learning pluralist society.

We seek to realize this vision by sharing sacred spaces, fostering inner growth and mutual compassion, and modeling social equality, ecological harmony, and just economies.


Mission Statement 

The mission of the ISC of Vancouver Society is to create, facilitate and support:

‚ÄĘ a pluralist ‚Äúcommunity of spiritual communities‚ÄĚ which is a catalyst for interspiritual dialogue and learning, and models interspiritual peace-¬≠‚Äźmaking through cooperation and collaboration

‚ÄĘ facilities that make shared sacred spaces available for a variety of organizations, congregations and individuals, including the residents of nearby neighbourhoods

‚ÄĘ a welcoming, informative network that promotes positive relationships in the presence of differences, and encourages diverse groups and interested individuals to value their spiritual wisdom and practices and also to appreciate those of others

‚ÄĘ programs of interspiritual activities, mentoring, and sacred encounter that support the people of Vancouver in developing their spiritual selves, and in making a positive difference in their own lives, the lives of others, the local community and the world

‚ÄĘ the required organizational structures and resources to fulfill the Society’s mission.
